Brief history of the Agricultural and Rural Advisory Center

The Agricultural and Rural Advisory Center of the Republic of Moldova (ARAC) was established in 2023, based on Government Decision No. 538/2023 (link for the Government Decision), with the aim of supporting the development of the agricultural sector and rural communities in the country. The institution was created to provide farmers and agricultural producers with specialized consultancy, professional training, and access to essential information in the agricultural and rural fields, thus contributing to the promotion of sustainable agriculture and a competitive rural economy. Since its inception, the center has focused on implementing best practices and innovative solutions for the development of the agricultural sector in the Republic of Moldova, ensuring that farmers have access to the necessary resources to maximize their economic potential and protect the environment.

ARAC in the First 10 Months of Activity

In every region of the country, ARAC has been present to help farmers face the challenges in agriculture. From practical workshops on soil, crops, and animal husbandry to training programs aimed at helping farmers expand their knowledge

Over 1,300 people participated in the activities organized by the center and obtained practical solutions.

Throughout 2024, the Agricultural and Rural Advisory Center organized 27 training sessions, 9 practical workshops, a training program for farmers, and a basic training program for agricultural counselors.
