The Agricultural and Rural Advisory Center is launching the procedure for selecting agricultural advisors to be included in the List of Advisors. The list is used by CCAR in the process of procuring agricultural advisory services, in order to identify potential providers and contract them for the delivery of specialized services according to farmers’ needs.

Eligibility criteria

The selection process is open to persons who:

Hold a certificate of completion of the basic training program for agricultural advisors, issued by the Center;

Have participated, during the last 3 years, in professional training activities, such as courses, trainings, conferences, seminars, etc., in the targeted advisory field or in related fields.

Required documents

To apply, applicants must submit the following set of documents:

Completed application form, according to Annex No. 1 to the Regulation;

Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV);

Copy of the certificate of completion of the basic training program;

Copies of documents confirming participation in professional training activities during the last 3 years;

Consent for the processing of personal data, according to Annex No. 2 to the Regulation.

If applying for several advisory fields, a separate Application must be submitted for each field, together with separate supporting documents for each area.

The selection procedure for agricultural advisors will be carried out in two stages:

Verification of the submitted application file;

Interview stage, which provides for the assessment of the applicant based on the following criteria:

Critical thinking and problem-solving;

Communication and interpersonal skills;

Motivation and professional commitment.
