17 farmers, including one cooperative, will benefit from advisory support throughout the entire production cycle. The services will be provided by 11 agricultural advisors to farms operating in areas such as livestock farming, horticulture, winemaking and others.
The support is adapted to the stages of the production cycle and aims to improve technological processes, increase economic performance and support the adoption of innovative solutions in farm activities.
In parallel, 11 farmers are taking part in a mentoring programme, guided by 5 experienced farmer-mentors. The focus is on the direct transfer of practical experience: from farmers to farmers.
The activities are part of the Growth Programme, implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry through the Agricultural and Rural Advisory Center.
The activities planned under the Growth Plan support the creation and development of the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System (AKIS) by connecting relevant actors, research, education, advisory services and farmers into a functional system.
