The Agricultural and Rural Advisory Center is implementing, between February and December 2026, a programme focused on promoting green economic practices and climate-resilient practices in the cultivation of stone fruits and nuts.

The activities are carried out within the PROGRESS project, funded by the Government of Germany and implemented by a consortium of organizations led by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, in partnership with the European Business Association (EBA) Moldova, IEF, OECD and RECC.

As part of this project, a specialization programme for agricultural advisors in the field of stone fruits and nuts will be carried out. At the same time, media information campaigns will be implemented to promote green economic practices and climate-resilient practices, presenting efficient and economically viable solutions for orchard treatment, irrigation and soil cultivation.

Strengthening the capacities of agricultural advisors is essential to ensure that these solutions effectively reach farmers. I encourage the participating agricultural advisors to make the most of these trainings in order to apply the presented solutions in practice.”
