The specialization programme for agricultural advisors dedicated to green economic practices and climate-resilient practices in the cultivation of stone fruits and nuts, carried out by the Agricultural and Rural Advisory Center, has been completed.

12 agricultural advisors completed the programme, strengthening their competencies to provide support to farmers.

The training modules included modern technologies and practices adapted to climate change: from land selection and orchard establishment to irrigation and crop protection against diseases and pests for stone fruit and nut species.

The competencies acquired will enable advisors to provide services adapted to farmers’ needs, thereby contributing to increased resilience and economic performance of agricultural holdings.

A similar programme will be carried out between October and November 2026.

The programme was implemented within the PROGRESS project, funded by the Government of Germany and implemented by the consortium led by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, in partnership with the European Business Association (EBA) Moldova, IEF, OECD and RECC.
