Over 500 agricultural producers informed about financing and support opportunities at AgroFin Moldova 2026

More than 500 agricultural producers took part in the second edition of AgroFin Moldova, an event dedicated to producers and the development of agricultural businesses.

This year’s edition was held in three locations — Chișinău, Bălți and Cahul — and brought closer to producers representatives of 15 institutions and companies active in financing, subsidization, insurance, technologies, support services and development projects.

During the events, agricultural producers had the opportunity to speak with representatives of the participating institutions and learn about active financing programmes, new subsidy conditions, available financial products, grants, services and opportunities that can be accessed for the modernization and development of agricultural businesses.

“The Agricultural and Rural Advisory Center was created to support agricultural producers. During this period of activity, we have tried to listen as closely as possible to farmers’ needs, to be present in the regions, to organize practical training sessions and to develop advisory services that respond to the real problems of the sector,” said Carolina Chiper, Director of CCAR.

According to her, agriculture needs not only work and experience, but also investment, planning, access to accurate information and professional support.

“Without financing, the modernization of an agricultural business becomes much more difficult. Without information, many opportunities remain unused. That is why AgroFin was designed as a practical platform for dialogue between agricultural producers, public institutions, banks, financing organizations, international projects and partners offering solutions for agriculture and rural development,” Carolina Chiper emphasized.

The Agricultural and Rural Advisory Center extends its thanks to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry for its partnership and support in organizing this initiative dedicated to agricultural producers.

CCAR also expresses its gratitude to all partners who stood alongside the team and contributed to the organization of the AgroFin Moldova 2026 events.

AgroFin 2026 was organized as part of the implementation of the Reform Agenda related to the Economic Growth Plan of the Republic of Moldova for 2025–2027, with the aim of creating the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System (AKIS) and institutionalizing agricultural advisory services.
